yes we know. but all this does is drive the left and make them stronger.

I would tell them Obama would bring back the draft and hurt the tech industry. Obama supporters are young and hip. they don’t want to ‘gird their loins’ or lose their iphones.

Democrats are liberal, socialistic, Communistic anti-Americans, there is No question about it. There is nothing wrong with telling the truth about the treason of all Democrats and those who support them.

The great GOP in the State of Ohio did exactly the same thing with Ken Blackwell (candidate for governor) in 2006. Because he won the primary and took away the chance for their butt boy Jim Petro to be governor, they refused funding for his campaign, and he got thrashed in the general election.

Believe me, IF Mr. Blackwell would’ve won, as a former SoS we would NOT be having the problems in Ohio that we’re having now. Thanks GOP, YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW!!!!! (unfortunately, the rest of the country has to suffer as well.) :(

Musgrave boldly voted the unconstitutional piece of garbage bailout legislation down. Apparently she is getting it from BOTH sides now, Gill & Co. on one side and any support from the NRCC on the other. Makes you wonder if all the alleged behind the scenes dirty arm twisting over the bailout scam is coming back to bite her in her re-election. Did she right thing and is getting punished for it now? The NRCC is administering a self-inflicted wound with this type of behavior. Either support your conservatives or shut up and sit down and quit invoking Reagan's name NRCC!

“See my tagline!”

Good tag!

Throwing good Republican conservatives under the bus is insane.

The head of NRCC prefers to help his cronies and no strong women. Not even sure he is helping our veterans who are candidates.

This is the NRCC not the RNC. Remember it is the National Republican Congressional Committee that so many of us are mad at them abandoning good candidates. RNC is not involved with the pulling of ad money, NRCC is.

FRC President Tony Perkins said in a letter to Cole, chairman of the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC), that the committee "is abandoning social conservative candidates" by pulling ads from the reelection races of Reps. Marilyn Musgrave (R-Colo.) and Michelle Bachmann (R-Minn.).

Unbelievable. The Republican Party has become the French Party!

This really ticked me off too, so I sent them an email titled “An Important Question”:

Hi,

You guys constantly abuse my mailbox with letters whining and begging for support. And thus far I have successfully ignored you, instead contributing directly to Republican candidates whose conservative views align with mine.

I read an article today saying you are deserting Reps. Michele Bachmann, Marilyn Musgrave, Tom Feeney and Joe Knollenberg. What a bunch of wimps. Where are your cojones? Source:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2113012/posts and
http://tinyurl.com/697lnb

It would appear you are a willing participant in helping Nancy Pelosi achieve her dream of a veto proof House.

Sorry for the editorial, but y’all piss me off.

Now my question: What is the maximum amount I can contribute to these valiant incumbents who are trying to prevent America from turning into a third world country? I’m gonna write some fat checks today.

Thanks!

upchuck

Here's the problem. Twenty years ago a candidate with ties to people like Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, or Bernadine Dohrn could not possibly have been elected president. Even in the Democrat primaries, they would have been rejected as unelectable. So how did we end up in a position where not only is such a candidate electable, but criticizing his associations with such vermin is considered “divisive”?

It's because the Republicans accept the basic premise that the left should rule our nation and determine the parameters of thought. They don't always do this, but in general the Republicans have conceded the culture to the left.

This explains why George Bush, hardly a very conservative Republican, is considered by the Dems to be some sort of far right extremist. When the Republicans move left to work with the Dems, the Dems simply redefine the compromise point as the far right, move to the left, and start screaming that the Republican who just moved closer to their position is a dangerous far right extremist. This constantly ratchets everything to the left. It's why it's “divisive” to oppose same-sex “marriage”, but not “divisive” to support it.

The left is given carte-blanche by the media, by itself, and even by the GOP, to determine what is divisive. If we've reached the point (and apparently we have) where open association with unrepentant terrorists and America-hating demagogues can't be criticized, or even noted, without earning the charge of being “divisive” (while the offending behavior itself is, incredibly, considered acceptable), then we're headed toward a thought-controlled leftist one-party state.

here’s the problem: somewhere along the way it was decided that you could only be true to your beliefs by being nasty to the other side. We don’t have to be divisive to be true to our beliefs

What's nasty about calling someone who associates with the likes of Wright & Ayers un-American? If the GOP candidate for president palled around with white supremacists, unrepentant abortion clinic bombers, and the like, do you think the Dems would avoid mentioning it out of fear of appearing “divisive”? Do you think the media would accuse the Dems of ugly, nasty, divisive politics if they made a big deal (or even just mentioned) the GOP candidate's close ties to such people?

If the GOP candidate had comparable vermin as friends, the media would launch a 24/7 feeding frenzy against the candidate until he was forced to step down as the candidate and driven completely from public life. The Dems would be running millions of dollars in advertising showing bombed abortion clinics, KKK rallies, and the like. And they wouldn't be called "divisive" for doing that. The GOP would be considered "divisive", and nasty, and ugly for putting up such a candidate in the first place.

You're playing by their rules. If we keep playing by them, you can kiss the country goodbye.
