Kindergarten Sex Ed Becoming Mandatory In England

LONDON (AP) — It's a controversial idea in a land known for prudishness about sex — teaching kids as young as 5 about the birds and bees.

But with one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in Europe, the British government is bringing sex education to all schools in England — including kindergartens.

While countries like France, Holland and China already require sex education, few places demand that it be introduced at such a young age.

"It's vital that this information doesn't come from playground rumor or the mixed messages from the media about sex," Schools Minister Jim Knight said Thursday, announcing that sex ed would be added to the national curriculum.

Any adult that discuss sex with a child is a pervert.

Adult defined as not the direct parent or guardian.

Dear Britain

if your Christian morals won’t fix this, the Islamofascists will.

sharia law will show you what big Dhimmis you are for going to the dark side.

sex education in pre-school, primary or elementary classes is tantamount to indoctrination - plain and simple.

Besides the moral reasons not to do this, a practical reason not to teach sex-ed to kindergarteners is that most of them are just not that interested! Nor would they “get it”. Why would people want to do *that*?

Maybe sex-obsessed liberals don’t understand this. My 5yo’s idea of a good time is chasing his 3yo brother around the house (they both enjoy it), not chasing girls. For goodness sake, leave him alone.

Oh come on.

I am 36, and sex education has always been taught in Britain.

My generations sex ed started at age 10(’primary 6’ in Britain), where we got just the basics that year and the next which is the last year a child is at primary school in Britain. By basics, I mean what a vagina and penis are, how people have sex (insert rod a into slot b etc etc lol) and what happens when a girl/woman becomes pregnant.

More mature and detailed sex education doesnt start until you are at secondary school, and even then its still pretty basic stuff.

I think age 10 is the right age to start actual proper sex education, just on the cusp of puberty. Too late is pointless and even dangerous and before age 10 is also pointless.

This new sex ed in Britain from age 5 is basically going to be the basics I got at age 10-11, pushed back a few years.

It is well documented — Britain, the once heart of Western Christian Civ, is now a dead island. Save your breath, it was by their own choice.
After I saw the Sailors of HM Royal Navy attired in Pink China-ware in Persia, then heard one of the “sailors” getting a multi-million book deal, that closed the book for me.
We have enough problems of our own.
FRegards

They might have a better chance of saving the country if they gave Muslim Threat Education instead of Sex Education in British Kindergartens.

Gosh, how many teachers have been caught molesting or having affairs with students.

BTW, a teachers place is to educate on math, science, history. Not sex to 5 year olds.
