This is for comedy relief. I thought it was a joke when I first read it. This is the 3rd or 4th total scumbag that the Shulman campaign has sought counsel with and accepted endorsements from over the last 4 months.

When Shulman used Senator Paul A. "I sold my soul to EnCap" Sarlo to attack Garrett, those of us up in Northern NJ who would have had to pay those additional taxes and bonds for the Encap project for the next three decades could only stand there in shock and laugh.

Now Shulman pulls out a cheap whore and utter disgrace and uses him as a attack dog on ethics? Even the most ig'nant moron in NJ knows the Torch is a total scumbag who was bought and sold on the cheap.

Expecting Ramzi Yousef to endorse Shulman by election day now too.

Garrett's seat is safe. At this rate Garrett might bump up over 65% of the vote if Shulman keeps this endorsement parade rolling until election day.

Garrett Claims Victory

Surprisingly, I didn't get a press release from the Dennis Shulman campaign after last night's heated debate. However, as one would expect, Representative Scott Garrett has claimed victory.
Congressman Scott Garrett was at the top of his game on Wednesday night in his second debate against Dennis Shulman, hosted by the New Jersey Herald at Sussex County Community College.

Garrett was again able to tout his strong record as a taxpayer advocate, highlighting that he has received the Americans for Tax Reform “Hero of the Taxpayer” award every year he has been in Congress. Additionally, Garrett discussed his commitment to the ideals espoused by Citizens Against Government Waste, as well as the National Taxpayers Union.

Garrett also referenced the negative campaign tactics employed by his opponent, urging audience members to participate in an active listening exercise. “Every time my opponent makes an attack against me put a check in one column,” Garrett said. “And every time you hear my opponent offer a solution, put a check in the other column. I thinkyou are going to hear a lot of attacks but not a lot of solutions from my opponent on important issues that affect all of our families; solutions to thehigh cost of energy, or solutions to high taxes or solutions to end wasteful spending. Tonight, I will provide you with solutions because for the past six years I have been your Congressman I have fought for these important issues.”

True to Garrett’spredictions, Garrett stuck to the issues, Shulman hurled wild accusations. After 60 minutes of debate this evening, voters still do not know where Shulman stands on solutions to high taxes, illegal immigration, the energy crisis, healthcare, or any other number of issues.

I will always remember Torricelli for his role in one of the best comments I've ever heard from Don Imus on his morning radio show a few years ago (this was after Imus had interviewed him on the air).

"When that greasy, unctious weasel left the studio we had to hose the place down."

Comic relief is right. Why would the disgraced Torricelli even offer up an opinion. Oh right, this is Jersey. I’ve got to get out of here.....

Torricelli is one of the few, the very few, who can play in the league of narcissistic and egotistical arrogance of Joe Biden. Two of the biggest P's-OS to ever disgrace public life.

Scott Garrett has been my favorite House member for 8 years. He has been on the right side of every single vote. He even voted no on the Medicare drug welfare plan after Tom Delay screamed threats at Garrett on the House floor.

The media needs to stop calling Dennis Shulman a “rabbi”. He is not one.

Scott Garrett is my congressman. I consider myself quite fortunate, especially in NJ, to be represented by him. Looking forward to voting for him again. He’s the one reason I will definitely be in the voting booth on the 4th.

Can we clone him ? I think he ought to be a top contender for Republican leader in the next Congress. Boehner has GOT to go.
