Verastegui has spoken at several McCain-Palin rallies. In Miami, the capital of Latin America and the first U.S. city where Verastegui lived, he campaigned for John McCain with McCains Senate allies Joe Lieberman and Mel Martinez, as well as Floridas former governor, Jeb Bush and Governor Charlie Crist.
Verastegui said, There I was, just an actor from Hollywood, not even a politician.
I said more than 45 million babies have been killed by abortion in America and more than 200,000 Latino babies are killed by abortion each year. I told everyone that we need to put an end to this and, when I finished, I went to John McCain and I said, Senator, thank you for your commitment to life. Id like to give you something. I gave him a Miraculous Medal blessed by Pope Benedict XVI and he was amazing. He said, Thank you so much! Look what I have here in my pocket. Then Sen. McCain took a medal out of his pocket that he carries everywhere and it was a Blessed Mother Teresa medal. He said, Eduardo, now I am going to keep both.

Hey, there are rules here at FR. When you post an article about this guy you must post a picture of him also. I’m going to go make myself another cup of coffee, and when I get back, you better have a nice one posted for me. (c8
I agree. ;-))
Good morning!
WHO?? Never heard of this guy. From the pictures posted he seems to be a good looking young actor type, but what's with the razor stubble? Commit to the whole beard or shave it smooth (at least that's what my wife says).
But hey, if he's famous and brings some good attention to an important subject, then good for him.
If you haven’t seen the movie, “Bella” please do so. It’s a touching movie with a pro-life theme.
Pablo, honey, go rent the movie “Bella”. It was made by this guy and some friends of his. He is in the movie. It is pro-life and really quite good.
I think one thing about the movie that I would like explained better in it is that the girl actually goes into the abortion clinic but changes her mind on the table. They don’t come right out and say it but... well, just watch the movie.
Thank you!
Pablo — Eduardo used to be a soap opera star. He now will kiss no one on screen ... unless it is his wife (although he is not yet married). And Bella is a great “must see” movie.
My daughter and I met him over a week ago:

I was perusing ONTD and wow, they are villifying him for being conservative. The comments about him are some of the worst I’ve ever read.

What vile comments!
