My group helped one of my local CPC’s acquire this exact model.

It’s the same system that was used in National Geographic’s “In the Womb”

The commercial has nothing to do w politics. It was simply GE advertising one of their coolest new products.

A number of years ago it aired for a few months until several pro-aborts complained. The ad stopped.

I’m on dial up and don’t have a youtube account. Anyone who would like is encouraged to put it on youtube. It will save lives beyond the election.

The system has been in for years and saves lives. I do their website and have begged them to use the video capture so we can put some footage on the website and use for general Pro-Life work. I guess they are too busy to do it.

You must have been one of the first to get the system. The program was released (I think) in early 2002. The GE Medical group that contracted us was based in Minnesota.

Funny story: The wife of one of our technicians was pregnant at the time and we called her into the lab to do some unauthorized testing. She was completely at ease with it all in spite of the crowd of dorky engineers around. We really didn't know how to actually USE the thing so she invited her Obst to come in. It was safe to say everyone was floored (including the doctor) when we saw the images it produced. The doctor put it on his neck and "tuned" it so you could actually see the blood flowing through the vessel.

I hadn't seen that site, but have seen many others. I guess I was hoping it would be a thing of pride and would increase the Center's morale to see one of their own. But really they are a great group of people, Saints IMO, and we thank God for each and every one of them.
