Geez. What is it with otherwise intelligent people. Surely someone should have mentioned to her by now that you get more of what you reward, and granting any kind of amnesty to people who have broken our laws is rewarding them for that behavior — and will result in more of it.

Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants? No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides. No where in the answer does she say she supporters amnesty. No where in that answer does she define "the rules". This answer is not a pro legalization answer. I will dissect the next answer next

She says not total amnesty. People have to follow the rules (does not define the rules). Those here legally first in line. She does not say that the line of the illegals does not start in Mexico (or where ever the homebase is). Good answer except for the "total" amnesty part which implied that partial amnesty would be in the works. This is certainly no reason to give us The One

....”granting any kind of amnesty to people who have broken our laws”....

Notice the difference in your statement above....and hers.

“....You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar,....”

She mentions NOTHING about them having broken the LAW. That’s the problem with people who think like Sarah and Juan. In their liberal world, some laws were just made to be broken.

When you are blinded by fear and emotion, that's when the rational thinking stops.
