Prayers for our candidates.
From George Washington’s Prayer Journal
Wednesday Evening Prayer:
“Holy and eternal Lord God who art the King of heaven, and the watchman of Israel, that never slumberest or sleepest, what shall we render unto thee for all thy benefits; because thou hast inclined thine ears unto me, therefore will I call on thee as long as I live, from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same let thy name be praised.
Among the infinite riches of thy mercy towards me, I desire to render thanks & praise for thy merciful preservation of me this day, as well as all the days of my life; and for the many other blessings & mercies spiritual & temporal which thou hast bestowed on me, contrary to my deserving.
All these thy mercies call on me to be thankful and my infirmities & wants call for a continuance of thy tender mercies.
Cleanse my soul, O Lord, I beseech thee, from whatever is offensive to thee, and hurtful to me, and give me what is convenient for me.
Watch over me this night, and give me comfortable and sweet sleep to fit me for the service of the day following.
Let my soul watch for the coming of the Lord Jesus;
let my bed put me in mind of my grave, and my rising from there of my last resurrection;
O heavenly Father, so frame this heart of mine, that I may ever delight to live according to thy will and command, in holiness and righteousness before thee all the days of my life. Let me remember, O Lord, the time will come when the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise and stand before thy judgment seat, and give an account of whatever they have done in the body, and let me so prepare my soul, that I may do it with joy and not with grief.
Bless the rulers and people of this land, and forget not those who are under any affliction or oppression. Let thy favor be extended to all my relations, friends and all others who I ought to remember in my prayer and hear me I beseech thee for the sake of my dear redeemer in whose most holy words,
I farther pray,
‘Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name
thy Kingdom come, thy will be done,
On earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And do not lead us into temptation
but deliver us from the Evil ONE.
For yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory
Forever! Amen”
Lord God my Father,
Thank you so much that you allow us to be a part of your Kingdom and share in your plans! It is so exciting! I just want you to know how thankful I am for Jim Robinson, and the others who run this site. Bless them Father, and give them vigorous health. I thank you for each of these fellow Americans who come on this site, and who believe in you, and your power to effect REAL change in this world, through your son, Jesus Christ! I praise you and thank you for each and every one. Also bless them, Lord. Lead them and Guide them in all wisdom, to know how to pray. Your word promises us that if we lack wisdom we should ask you, and you will freely give it to us. We ask for wisdom. We ask that you would tell us what it is that you want us to do.
Lord, your word also says that you will send your Holy Spirit to teach us. And even teach us how to pray. We ask also, for this gift. Teach us how to pray. Show us what you want us to do for your Kingdom. Lead, Guide and direct our paths, I pray in Jesus name.
Lord God most Holy Father, I pray and ask you to deliver the United States from fraud and plans to stealing the election. Bind up and remove the opportunities and abilities of those who plan and scheme and work to do so. Remove their ‘cleverness’. Bring them down to disgrace and humiliation. Not just those who carry out the cheating, but the leaders who planned such, and endorsed it. Expose them, and bring them to justice, I pray and ask it in Jesus name.
I further pray, as you told me, that you would rise up the hearts of true journalists, who see the propaganda and bias of most media; rise up in their hearts and give them a spirit of disgust at the lack of journalistic integrity. Bring to the forefront honest, hardworking, true and pure journalists who have a hunger for truth; and a respect for their calling, as the watch dog of the politicians and government—no matter who is running, or what party is running.
I pray that a wave of disgust would descend on the media, directed at Barack Obama—for his disinformation, his lack of access, and his intolerant attitude towards questions. I pray that the media would tire of his dismissive, arrogant treatment of the reporters who follow him. I pray that you would indeed unleash a spirit of discontent in their ranks...that would build into a full revolt! I pray that they would tire of and resent being held hostage to his demands, and rebel against his threats, and promises. I pray that they would be finished protecting Obama’s reputation and done with Idol building. I pray that they would realize that they are being used and abused, set them free and open their eyes to the truth. Give them a desire to print the truth. Give them a great hunger for it. I pray that your spirit would enlighten the press, and they would see that they being violated, abused and their values compromised, even destroyed.
I pray that they would see the need; that they would desire, and that they actually would begin, to print the truth about the worshiped Obama. That they would write true unapproved articles revealing the truths that Obama tries so hard to hide. I pray that they would reveal Obamas deceptions, and his lies, his attitudes about the stock market crash—and his contempt for fellow Americans who do not think as he does. I pray Lord that you would reveal the secrets that they are holding for him, and take away any guilt they may feel at revealing them.
Yes Lord, I pray that since Obama has benefitted from betrayal, falsehood, and slander against his enemies-—that you would in turn direct those vices of human nature toward his campaign, and it would be brought down by the very means he used against others. Treat him, and bring upon him, the same measures he has used against his political opponents.
And Lord, I pray this so that perhaps Mr. Obama would finally be humbled, as he asked you to do, in his note on the Western wall. The man is worshiped and now even prayed to. His followers have even taken a worship song written for you, and they sing it to Obama; and try to bring about his election by visualisation. Quickly rise to stop this abomination! Today, I plead with you Lord! IN the name of Jesus. Bring Obama to a huge defeat, so that in that perhaps he would turn to you, and truly be saved from his pride, and wickedness. Thank you Lord for hearing our prayers and supplications. IN the name of our Lord Jesus I pray. Amen.
This is from my prayer time this morning. A reading the Holy Spirit lead me to start my day. It sums up the current situation perfectly.

People tell of your wondrous deeds.

Praying every day - 30 mins minimum - for our nation and this election and our economy and our freedoms and for the saving of all those little unborn children and also for the redemption of the unsaved and for the deliverance from evil that seems to be coming in like a flood on our nation.
We have intense fear for the future of our country, and appeal to our Comforter. We see a sickened America and appeal to our Healer. We witness an unprecedented evil overtaking our government and appeal to our Savior.
All honor and glory and praise are Yours, as we lift our hearts and voices in prayer, in the Name of Your Precious and Powerful Son, Jesus. Amen.
