If the term socialist truly associates itself to blacks (which is a lie, it doesn't) then it would be the fault of blacks for allowing that to occur.

The accusation has an interesting revealing irony to it. It reveals that the socialists have intentionally preyed upon black people to use them to foreword the socialist agenda by gaining their support and using them as long as they “stay on the plantation”. Nonsense. It is true that the socialists infiltrated and used every social justice movement to advance the cause of Marxism. Labor, civil rights, farm reform, and health reform were all taken up to cloud and hide the socialist agenda. Many of the Black leaders welcomed the help of Marxists since not much support was available in the White community. Opponents of civil rights also used anticommunist rhetoric to block civil rights reform.

HOWEVER, it is a major logical fallacy to imply there is no such thing as Marxism, only racial prejudice. This is a rhetorical trick used in the past by such as Sen. Byrd.
