And I wonder if you know why he doesn't use a blackberry?

It's really shameful that it isn't part of the story whenever it's mentioned, as it is very pertinent. You see, McCain can't type. That's right, he is physically unable to.

You see, when his plane was shot down by a dreaded Soviet SAM over North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, he broke both his arms. The North Vietnamese who pulled him out of the water (he landed in a small lake) then beat him almost to death. He did not get proper medical attention and his bones healed incorrectly. He was beaten and tortured routinely, by having a stick placed behind his back and under his arms with his hands tied to the stick and forced to squat. Often he was left in this position for 16 hours a day.

So now he can't type. And that also means he cannot use a blackberry. Not because he's an old fogy, as the driveby media and Obama wants you to believe.

Now I'll bet you the under thirty-somethings know nothing of this story, you see, as the media doesn't like to tell it at all. It makes McCain look like, well, a hero, which during the late 60’s/early 70’s he was! Yet they don't want to tell the facts because that might give some folks sympathy for McCain, and also see the old man in an entirely different light, and that would be, to them at least, an “unfair” advantage.

Despicable doesn't even begin to describe our nation press and media “journalists”.

I just installed AltaVista and am so glad to hear you’re happy with it. I look forward to not supporting Google!

If you are under 30 and vote Republican you don’t have a heart. but, if you are over 30 and DON’T vote Republican you don’t have an brain.

Not trying to be picky but I believe the quote is more in the vein of:

"If you are twenty and you are not liberal, you don't have a heart. And if you are 40 and you are not a conservative, you don't have a brain."

Realizing the sham that is modern liberalism usually takes more than a year to shake off.

there are devices and add-ones on the market for those who have trouble typing.

I don’t think his use or non-use of a blackberry and other electronics is about being an “old fogey.” It has to do with the comfort level of constant contact and the “electronic leash” that is standard issue today among young people.

I would add that I feel not using a blackberry or other devices doesn’t relate to one’s ability to lead, govern etc. However, it is generally viewed through a cynical eye by young people.

The hidden or not so hidden message in the O campaign has been to cast himself as a technocrat — a technician. His use of stats, etc. are coldly technical and trusted by younger voters. Mac’s campaign has relied on old fashioned promises, i.e. “I will not raise taxes” while O’s campaign strategy has been to say, “Thirty five percent of the 8th percentile will not see their taxes raised.”

Young voters trust the appearance of the quantifiable. They find comfort in it.

Interesting to see that Obama wants government information online to ensure transparency -— but he won’t put his entire donor list online.

What YOU should do is clearly not what HE should do.

The vast majority of Google’s workforce is under 30 and prime O voters.

And considered useful idiots by the elite left.

Obama as President-for-Life? Google gets purged HARD.

The elite left? They are the left. They also just happen to work for one of the most successful companies on the planet.

Pay attention! The companies that were usual strongholds of conservatism are either fading or dependent on gubmint contracts.
