Yawn. As if Texas were in play, and their votes mattered. As if this newspaper had guts and weren't jumping on the bandwagon, even if their endorsement is correct among the two major candidates.
If the paper were in Colorado or New Mexico, I'll wager it would be different.

As a matter of fact, that’s the second very liberal paper in a liberal town that has endorsed McCain today. I think it’s a good sign.
Most of the press is in bed with Obama, but maybe a few people are waking up and realizing that newspapers won’t do very well in a socialist country with a destroyed economy.
The bad economic news coming out of the media is nothing to what will happen if the economy collapses, and Obama is just the guy to do it.
