Osama is taking on more of the people who could not hack it in a tough administration. If you cannot handle tackling terrorism and you have to bail because you cannot stand up to criticism from the other party and other nations then it was a good thing for America he dropped out. Turning on your heals and stabbing the administration and State Department in the back is not a gracious exit. Backing a candidate for any office purely for the color of their skin is a capricious act of spite.

Looking back, Bush 1 and Bush 2, IMHO, made decisions to escalate his stature which were not in our Republics best interests. While their intentions were pure, their bold steps to elevate a man who was NOT the best person for the job backfired on them and hurt the United States of America. If he wants to support Osama, he is welcome to. He is dead to me. Janet Reno had more balls for supporting her President in the face of turmoil than Powell ever had.

He is nothing more than what the Bushes ever were....a man (men) who will support a candidate/person if it serves their own self interest.

The job of President is much like a football coach or a managing general partner of a major league baseball team. The ability to select people based on their talent and abilities for a job is paramount. In that area, Mr Bush seems to be lacking.

His success as Texas Governor compared to his Presidency is baffling.
