He did fail to GET the American people to understand, but....
....nobody can MAKE anyone understand anything. You can lead a horse to water.....
There are those who CLAIM not to understand, but they do. They say they don't for partisan reasons. These people are treasonous.
Then there are those who really do not understand. These people are just plain stupid and shouldn't even be allowed to vote IMHO.
