Obama and the media are being gamed. If Powell endorses anyone it will be his close friend John McCain to which he has contributed money this election cycle. Don't be surprised if he is stepping forward to give his friend a boost in the polls. Powell regardless of where we differ from him his not disloyal and understands more than most that race does not transcend common decency and values.

Who cares what he thinks?

Probably a lot of non-conservative voters who have a favorable impression of Powell.

Lets hope so. Powell’s endorsement will help a lot. He will be villified and excoriated, and treated almost as bad as Joe the Plumber.

I know more than a few people who have worked very close to Powell over the last 15 years- not a one has a single nice word to say about the man.

I wouldn't bet either way on the endorsement.

Powell will endorse Obama. Everything is based on race for the black voting bloc.

My problem with Powell his that he talked Bush 41 out of completing the job in Iraq before we were finished. Had we been allowed to complete the mission, 09-11-01 might not have occurred. We would not be in Iraq now. It was a big mistake to stop Desert Storm. We were on a roll. JMHO.

If General Powell endorse Mccain MSM will have a field day of his past and America will realize MSM and Hussein are one including the demonrats and their main agenda is to destroy America with every fabric of society.

I bet he punts and says both are fine. Which, I guess would be an endorsement for Obama.

But it would be interesting if he came flat out in support of McCain.

The left does and that is why we should care. Why do you think he was a bad general? The left cares what he thinks and the media will make us all care if they get their deluded wish.
He will endorse John McCain or not endorse at all. That is my prediction.

“Powell regardless of where we differ from him his not disloyal”

Yes... buy loyal to who? His party, his country, or his race?

It’s still better to have his endorsement.

Any former Bush administration cabinet member endorsement of Obama is a bad thing.
