It’s funny but in the end people took advantage of a mistake. I’d tell the owner/manager but that’s just me. I give cashiers back $5 or tell wait staff they didn’t charge me for something.
This happened to me once.
I went inside and told the cashier that my receipt couldn’t be right.
She realized the mistake, but didn’t know how to fix it, so she told me that I could just consider myself lucky.
I refused, stating that I Insisted on paying the fair price.
My total bill was about $30, but my receipt showed $3. I gave the lady $30 and left.
Only later did I realize that I had already paid the $3, so I ended up paying $33 for a $30 tank of gas.
I am a very able bodied man. I refuse to take charity from anyone!
I remember when gas was 35 cents.
This is theft, plain and simple, I would not steal gas from a gas station and can take no pleasure at the thought of others doing it.
This is theft. Pure and simple.
I’d bet UHHbama 100 bucks to a mouthful of piss, and let him hold the stakes, that this thief is an UHHbama voter.
Proud of stealing. Is she proud that the station owner will eat the difference? Those guys make practically nothing on gas.
There is no honor in this. It is theft.
It is just a way to re-distribute the wealth. The station owner makes too much money from the other little people.
