The irony is if McCain ran a conservative campaign like Reagan did, he would win. The reason he's struggling is because he thinks conservatism is NOT what the American people want. On that count, he could not be more wrong. Conservatism wins everywhere.

Socialism is simply the demand by people of no accomplishment that their ability to criticize and second guess, and their self-proclaimed good intentions, be counted as credentials which require that they be given power over those who merely get things done.
