Tony Rezko used Alexi Giannoulias bank to float $450,000 in bad checks, while campaigning for Alexi’s brother Demetris to be placed on the Illinois Finance Authority Board.
Demetris Giannoulias was on the Board at the Crossroads Fund, a Chicago Based left wing organzation supported by Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn and Barack Obama, which made grants to such stellar organizations as ACORN and other affordable housing swindlers.
In 2002, Rezko borrowed $10.5 Million from Broadway Bank, the Giannoulias family bank, the same bank where Barack Obama kept his Senate campaign funds. In 2006, Sen. Obama endorsed Alexi Giannoulias for Illinois State Treasurer, and gives Sec. Giannoulias a slot to speak at the Democratic National Convention.
Glad to see all these upstanding folks able to work so well together, too bad that Rezko doesn’t want to serve time, and holds quite a bit of information about the Chicago Political Establishment that may be interesting to the Feds.

I’m afraid that even with the evidence against him, no one would press charges against Obama this close to the election. Dems never seem to go to jail when they commit crimes. And their party always ‘stands behind them’. If he were a republican his crimes (if there truly are any here) would already be front page news and the Dems would have this election already won.

I keep telling myself to never underestimate the power of ego. There could be someone out there, regardless of party who wants there name in the history books as the one who brought Obama down.
Fitz went after Bush/Cheney. He got Scooter instead. Still, he has “cred” with the left.
The press will just "make it go away" before the election. Anyway, I think all this really is sinking into the nations conscienceness slowly but surely. I do think people can "sense" when something is right, and Oboma definitely isn't right.
Don’t see much of a connection to Ayers here. Rezko owned buildings, Ayers blew ‘em up.

I hope it moves fast too, but let’s get real...it’s a Federal probe. There probably won’t be any indictments or subpoenas until spring.
I don’t think you can indict a sitting President, can you? The Feds better get this done but I won’t hold my breath.

During the Democratic primary election, while Obama was pushing to secure the nomination for Alexi Giannoulias, other Democrats were trying to point up the fact that the Broadway Bank was “mobbed up.”
Yeah. Just imagine what will happen to Rush and Hannity and all those other people on talk radio.
Is there any ONE person in mainstream media today, who would look at this and forgo their own ambitions to bring it into the light?
There use to be real journalists, real reporters, hungry for the story and they always liked it when America wins.
I’ve said it before....The only way to ensure he sings in time for the election is for McCain to ask Obama on Wednesday night if he will pardon Rezko if elected POTUS.
The answer would have to be no with an audience that big.
Rezko sings loudly and Fitz gets an IOU from McCain.

I agree. Fitz is a very good and capable prosecutor. He has been a breath of fresh air for the most part for a long while in Chicago.
lets not think that justice will be any better....however, I do know that there are Democrats who are mad this time as well....we'll see....

Hillary didn’t name drop Rezko for the fun of it during the debates...it was a glimpse into what she had on him.
Nobama is gonna have to spend 3-4 precious days off message explaining this mess to the masses. McCain has bought himself some time as this story floods the mainstream.
