Why was this even a matter for legislation? The first so-called ‘doctor’ who refused to treat a BABY (alive, outside the womb) should have been convicted of murder and had his licence removed.

It is my understanding that the then-AG of the State of Illinois told the medical profession otherwise. Nurses have since testified in Congress that they held children born alive after a failed abortion in hospital broom closets and that IL law allowed these children to be set aside to die. The mothers did not want to see these children and evidently the law was on their side. They were legally entitled to send this innocent life to the trash heap.

It’s absolutely horrific to contemplate and it indeed took place in America.

Catholic Church, wake up and speak up, for God’s sake.
