Please Consider Volunteering as a Poll Worker or Watcher - This is VERY IMPORTANT WORK (Vanity)

Something we fear, and often see discussed and lamented, is election fraud. We here at Free Republic, as a community of concerned vindividuals, are in a position to counter at least some of the Democrat party sponsored and encouraged voter fraud.

For the past several weeks we have seen a steady stream of reports of a massive, concerted voter fraud push by the opposition.

We complain about voter fraud, but how many of us actually do something about it?

I'm asking all of you to seriously consider contacting your local Republican party office and volunteering your services as a poll watcher or poll worker for the upcoming election.

We only get one vote (at least for those of us who are honorable), but poll watchers and workers can prevent the votes of the honest multitude from being negated by the dishonest few.

Here in my home state of Alabama, all it takes is for the Republican Party to put your name on a list of watchers. This list is then submitted to the voter registrar, and you are assigned a polling place to observe.

The Republican party provides training and you are trained in how to detect and properly report irregular voting practices, as well as how to behave yourself in the polling place.

The investment in time is relatively small - a few hours of training and a full day spent working at the polling place.

You will probably be requested show up and inspect the voting machines before the polls open in order to prevent ballot box stuffing prior to voting. You may be requested to stick around and watch as the votes are tallied. You may be requested to observe as the tallied votes are transferred from one individual to another.

The rewards, both personal and to our country, are great. I don't regret a minute of my time spent doing this work.

Many of us cannot contribute as much money to our candidates as we would like, but this work may be even more important than financial contributions.

I will be glad to answer any questions, but keep in mind things may be different here in Alabama than in your state. This is why you need to contact your local party officials.

Please note... If you live in a district where the local election officials are Democrats, they may be no opposition to all sorts of polling place tricks. As a poll watcher, you may be the only Republican or Independent present at the site. I cannot overstate the importance of this work.

Please consider volunteering for this important job.

Thanks!

Mods - this post has two strikes against it. It is both a vanity and a essentially a repost. Sorry - I feel this is very important and a way that our community can make a big difference in this election. If you choose to delete this post, I understand.

Frankly, I'm afraid that we must go the extra mile to counteract the massive democrat party sponsored voter fraud effort. I STRONGLY encourage other freepers to volunteer at your local Repblican party office to help at their local precinct

My state does all mail-in ballots. Of course we completely trust the Dem counters to accurately tally the results.

Already volunteered. Extremely important, and something anyone can do. Training took about 2 hours, very interesting and worthwhile just to find out what goes in in a polling place and some of the stuff that can happen when no one is watching.

I am a GOP poll watcher in Palm Beach county FL. The trainings in my area are on 10/25 and 10/29 so it is NOT TOO LATE if you live in FL. Contact the local or state McCain campaign ASAP.

We will need all the help that we can get!

Our county clerk, besides poll watchers, is having someone observe the polling places....Me! I’ve been a poll watcher and election supervisor. This should be fun.

As a probie pollworker I encourage anybody with the volunteer spirit to contact your local county Supervisor of Elections office. It’s has been a greatly rewarding experience (about 7 elections under my belt). At the Precincts I’ve worked everything was on the up and up and the fellowship was bi-partisan and uplifting. Join up now.

At the risk of oversimplification...

You first receive training from the local Republican party organization (at least in MY area you do). You are trained in how cheating can occur and what you can do about it.

Then you arrive at the polls before they open, verify that the machines are zeored out and contain no ballots (preloaded with straight Democrat ticket ballots).

Then you sit there and walk around all day until the polls close, watching for fraudulent or improper practices. Making sure nobody is marking someone else’s ballot. Making sure voters are presenting ID and are then marked off the list of voters registed at that location, etc.

As an observer you have the right document, and to object, and also to call a local party official who can come down to the precinct if needed.

Then, after the polls close, you watch the ballots being tallied and secured for transport to the main election officials office.

You present your tally to the Repuplican party office for them to verify against the official counts.

One watcher can prevent hundreds of fraudulent votes, and I believe this is vital to keep the election from being stolen.

I found that I could do the most good in the dim-dominated precincts because that’s where they are bolder about committing felonies. As you can see, it is not hard to prevent dozens of fraudulent votes: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1991953/posts BTW, get us some video of the vans going from one polling place to the next with the dims voting repeatedly. Even the MSM is enjoying the controversy generated by the blatant vote fraud this year.

One plus is you don’t hang around listening to the talking heads all day. You are busy, you usually make a few new acquintances, you work alongside Dims and find they are as nauseating as you thought.

I/ve got an ICE hat. Bought the navy blue ballcap and the whiteiron-on letters at Walmart for less than $10.

It looks very official - just like he ones the ICE agents wear during the big busts.

I don’t believe I will be wearing it at the polls.

How does someone get to work at the election office?
Someone needs to be there watching them accept ballots that people fill out and turn in.

Last election, a woman working there and collecting these ballots tryed to tell me that I shouldn't bother sealing the envelope, that it wasn't important...

I’m sure each state, and perhaps each county, has different procedures and requirements.

I don’t know the answer to your question. Your local Republican party office will have the answers. The people there have all been though this before and will have many years cumulative experience.

When you call your office, be aware that many offices have only opened in the past few months and will not be in the phone book. An on-line search may turn up the phone number. You may need to visit in person.

Call your local Republican office. I’m sure they will be glad to hear from you and can put you to some useful work at the polls.

Well?...I agree with you partially.

If the Republicans vigorously fight voter fraud they will be branded as racists. Ultimately that will cost them votes.....BUT....The PACs could do a **great** job at it and deflect attention away from the Republican party itself.

The Pro-lifers, NRA, the Fair-Taxers, and other conservatives should do the following:

1) Get the voter registration lists. Send out mailings. Any that return with an “addressee unknown” sticker should be investigated and challenged.

2) Before the election get attorneys and the media prepared and ready to report and challenge voter fraud.

3) On election day have volunteers outside those districts with past fraud. Have signs and pamphlets announcing that voter fraud is being watched, publicized, and will be prosecuted.

4) Inside the polling stations have **aggressive** poll watchers armed with video and cameras. Have attorneys and the media on alert. Inform poll workers that if there is suspected fraud their names and faces **personally** will be broadcast nationally.

5) After the election vigorously demand that fraud be investigated and fully punished.
