Analyze this: “The number of voters registered in Knox County in 2008 will set a record at more than 250,000” and “he estimates another 4,000-5,000 will be added to the 249,864 registered as of Sept. 27”
Even if you take that to mean that he expects the number of people registered to vote by election day to be 300,000, I kind of wonder about that because the total population in that county in 2007 was only 423,874. Can the population of a county expand that much in a single year? The Census number would include children wouldn’t it?
