The media needs to start asking hard questions. Here is where they need to start. If you look at page 180 of the 451-page monster bailout bill that easily passed the Senate yesterday (PDF here), you will see that it includes at Section 116 language about the tax treatment of "industrial source carbon dioxide." It also provides, at Section 117, for a "carbon audit of the tax code."

McCain? Try Obama’s carbon tax- period. Cap N trade nothing, this is just a straight carbon tax on everything, much the same as what that liberal is trying to do in Canada. Notice how for reasons unknown, the election started going bad for the conservatives there at the exact same time as here.
The new world Marxist order is moving to take control of all North America.
Tax nitrogen for greater effect.
The Dems wiull sell the certs the first time out and coup the money "for doing nothing".
It was obvious from the start that the left wanted to tax carbon. That means taxing breathing, because respiration produces carbon dioxide.
The left is out of its mind.
^^^^^^^^^^^^But McCain’s plan is VERY different from the Dems. They will issue the original certs for free. Clean up your “stuff” and you can sell the certs.^^^^^^^^^
It may be different, but it’s still garbage. It’s still a tax increase, it’s still an attack on the free market.
It’s still a so called conservative accepting the liberal line and running with it.
But that’s no big deal here on FR. Everybody around here knows that McCain isn’t a conservative anyways.
Make no mistake about it. You are a pollutant. I am a pollutant. All of humanity is a pollutant.
Have you ever seen the matrix? Makes me think about agent smith’s monologue about trying to classify the human race.
“a virus. And we............ are the cure”
The country is going down the tubs possibly a full blown depression and they’re talking carbon credits? Unbelievable.
