Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama was quick to blame the bankruptcy of Wall Street giant Lehman Brothers on Republicans failed philosophy. Obamas September 15 comments were repeated throughout the media--yet reporters have not noted Obamas glaring conflict of interestthe Lehman debt owed to a bank owned by the financier who loaned millions of dollars to Tony Rezko.
Jockeying among the other debtors seeking repayment under Chapter 11 bankruptcy rules is BNP Paribas, a large French bank whose largest single private shareholder is Nadhmi Auchis General Mediterranean Holdings (GMH). BNP Paribas is owed $250 million by Lehman.
Nadhmi Auchi is an Iraqi whose Baathist ties go back to 1959. A formerly high-ranking official in Iraqs Oil Ministry, Auchi left Iraq at the end of the 1970s. His wealth then grew exponentially as a procurer of arms for Saddam Husseins government during the IranIraq war. He is now one of the richest men in Britain. Saddam Hussein in 1995 selected BNP, which later merged with Paribas, as the sole conduit bank handling Oil-for-Food transactions. This Clinton-era arrangement was changed in 2001 by the incoming Bush administration.

when does this dance out onto the msm stage?
too complicated for the simpleton’s......probably....
Well does it mention the $440,000+ campaign donation that Lehman Bros gave to Barak Obama, before they went under? Too bad.
isn’t that a b-tch the only media that is willing to imform the public is the foreign press.
Too bad,
This spinning top will just go-around, go-around, and who knows where it will land. Maybe in Barney Frank’s crotch: but, probably still pointing to the spineless 2000-2006 Congress pubbies!
Been searching foreign press for the biggger picture and hopefully “non-partisan”investigation that might change minds and hearts in this election.
To whittle this down to a simple story, here is a young attorney fresh out of law school who seems to have contact with a few billionaires, and in short time is catapulted as a Presidental candidate whose background largely consists of being a “community organizer”.
It’s either the greatest “American Dream” story or a real nightmare in the making.
What do these billionaires see in Obama beside “charisma”?
the cultimation of what they started in the 1960s

* BNP aka Banque Nationale De Paris & Noriega :
ARTICLE SNIPPET: PARIS (Reuters) - France had taken note of a U.S. court ruling in the case of former Panamanian leader Manuel Noriega but an official on Sunday declined comment on his possible extradition to Paris after his U.S. prison term ends.
Noriega, 72, was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison by a Paris court in 1999 on charges of laundering millions of French francs generated by the drugs trade through banks CIC, BNP, Credit Lyonnais and Banco do Brasil. Luxury apartments owned by Noriega and his family in Paris were also seized.
The former Pananamanian strongman is due to appear before a U.S. magistrate on Frances extradition request on Tuesday after a separate U.S. judge on Friday denied him a speedy return home when he is released from prison in Florida on September 9 after serving 17 years for drug trafficking and racketeering.
