At the time I read that the Justice Department was not
going to invoke the Logan Act, but the reason escapes me.

Now I wish I could find the article that had Bush’s
response to Obama’s treason.

I believe that they are only doing so because they want the race tight, not too tight so that 0bama loses, but tight enough to drive up ratings and ad rates so that they can make a quick buck.

On October 3, I wrote:

“I had been thinking that McCain “forgot” a lot, too. But lately, I’m beginning to think that it is part of his operational tempo to let Obama peak too soon, and pour it on him in the last three weeks. That’s strategery!”

Given McCain’s military discipline, operational tempo is a concept well known to him. And I haven’t changed my viewpoint in the meantime.

That's right the LOGAN ACT has a provision in it where one must be a Republican or a conservative for a violation of the act to occur.
