WASHINGTON - GOP presidential nominee John McCain has past connections to a private group that supplied aid to guerrillas seeking to overthrow the leftist government of Nicaragua in the Iran-Contra affair.
McCain's ties are facing renewed scrutiny after his campaign criticized Barack Obama for his link to a former radical who engaged in violent acts 40 years ago.

Once again, Obama and the media step in it.
By bringing up the Keating Five and now this charge, Obama is simply legitimizing the Ayers story. In addition, Obama is using all of this up now - what happens when they start to hammer him on Rezco?
Finally, who do you want to elect? The guy who associates with a domestic terrorist, or a guy who tried to rid the western hemisphere of communism?

McCain is tied to a group that tried to BOMB communists while Obama is tied to a group that tried to BOMB the US...
To: TexasNative2000
So...
What they’re trying to say is...
John McCain is connected to...
RONALD REAGAN!?
I’m voting for that!

Are they trying to tell me that McCain is against Communism? How dare he! That’s unpatriotic!

(If Barack Hussein Obama is the answer, it must have been a pretty dumb question.)
Iran-ContraSo, essentially, they haven't found any recent dirt on McCain or any dirt on Palin... so they're having to dig up crap from decades ago. Got it.

These IDIOTS on the left just don't get it that the majority of Americans think it is THE RIGHT THING TO DO to overthrow commie dictators. They sit around in their circle jerks and forget what the real world is really like.

No, no, no.... They view this as moral equivalency.
Obama supported a guy who did bombings / McCain supported a group who did bombings.

And the former radical in question is quite proud of his violent acts.

LOL, McCains been fighting commies his entire life and now he’s fighting another commie bastard in Barack Hussein Obama. I’ll be happy to continue to fight commies with McCain and much happier to fight them with the young Governor Palin.

John McCain has fought communists his whole life, and he continues to this day. While Barak Obama was snorting cocaine, McCain was organizing opposition to the communist sandinistas.
Barak Obama takes a different approach to communists, he becomes their friend. Obama held his first political rally in the home of this communist, Bill Ayers:
Obama: friend to communists

Amazing how the media is so in the tank....I must say, this election has changed my viewing and listening habits forever. Mrs. 2000, who is not into all this political stuff, came to the same conclusion last week.
Her favorite phrase now is "How can they say that?"
