....those in positions similar to Biden's son have served as Army prosecutors, helping enforce military law. Did we have this in WW2?
To: Flavius
Well, that’s three of the top four with family members serving. What’s Barry’s military experience?
To: Freee-dame
i guess i should have read the article more... i think we did except they were prosecuting the enemy

We all need to take a pause from the election and appreciate Biden for supporting his son, and of course appreciate his son for his duty as we do every one of our brave soldiers.
.
Now back to your regularly scheduled program.
To: Flavius
Shameless, Biden’s son, being the son of the VP candidate will not be given combat duty and will be protected by armed guard 24/7.

He did say that he played with GI Joes.

Did we have this in WW2? We always have. In the JAG he could be doing any of dozens of duties, but given that he's an AG he's probably a prosecutor. They are a very necessary component of good order in the Army.

I believe his son is Chairborne.

Tough day to be a dad - no matter who you are.
Even if he is a lawyer, I hope he and his colleagues all return safely.

“He did say that he played with GI Joes.”
Was that with Frank Marshall Davis?

Did we have this in WW2? Yes. Tangentially, although a fictional account, one of the best movies about a military trial during WWII is "The Caine Mutiny" (1954) with Humphrey Bogart.

Good luck and G-d speed to the young Mr. Biden.
Anyone who raises a kid who signs up to serve in uniform is okay by me. I’ll disagree with Biden all day long, but I’m glad to see he raised a son with American values. That’s rare on the left these days.

Well, it’s nice to see the media did not give full details about precisely where he would be, what he would be doing, and a physical description (including identifying marks such as tatoos) like they did with Track Palin.
May God watch over both of them, and all of those who serve. Amen.
