I’m really far too depressed and disgusted to care. This is the biggest con that’s ever been perpetrated on us in our history.
Thank you, Congressman Reichert.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Neugebauer, NO. I’m calling right now that thank him. It’s never wrong for a representative to represent the will of the people. He did the right thing. I’m going to help his campaign.
my guy - Joe Courtney voted NO. and he’s a dem.
I’ve done a bit of smugglin’, I’ve run my share of grass
I made enough money to buy Miami, but I pissed it away so fast
Never meant to last, never meant to last
And I have been drunk now for over two weeks
I passed out and I rallied and I sprung a few leaks
But I got stop wishin’, got to go fishin’
Down to rock bottom again
Just a few friends, just a few friends
How did your congresscritter vote?
Take the money he wanted a new vacation house anyway.
Mine voted “yes,” but I’m represented by a flaming liberal (Price, NC 4th). I see at least a few conservative names that hung tough, but not enough. And a few liberals that still voted no...Dennis Kookcinich, for one. Interesting. I guess if it wasn’t a straight government house giveaway, it wasn’t good enough for him.
}:-)4
Mine voted no. Which is surprising I guess. I have a donk rep, who voted no, a donk senator, who voted no, and a GOP senator that voted yes. Of course, the two donks are up for re-election.
Take note of the thieves who voted for this and defeat them either in November or in the 2010 primaries.
My guy voted no.
(John Linder of Georgia)
I shall send him a thank-you note.
Mine, John Linder (GA) voted NAY, I wish he would run for senate against Chambliss or Isaakson.
Disappointingly. He voted correctly on Monday, but now he’s turned over,
Mine, Phil Gingrey, voted “nay”. Even tho I’m really peeved that this passed, I think I’ll email him a thank you for at least representing his constituents properly. It’s a shame our Senators didn’t.
Lincoln Diaz-Balart voted nay. Good.
Okay, GOP: time to run some ads.
Wow, Uncle Miltie, Jimmy does say it right :)
Bushonomics: Privatize Gains, Socialize Losses.......”PAULSON’S THEFT”
Updating Tagline.
Crisis reveals character. Glad I have some names now.
Cuellar (D-TX28) changed his vote and supported the bill. Now he can tell us how he voted against it before he voted for it.
Mine is Lewis (R)-KY, and he voted yes both times. But since he is not running for re-election, there isn’t a whole lot we can do about it, except hope that the guy who replaces him does a better job.
Rep. Tom Latham who represents me in Iowa voted NO! My favorite Representative, Steve King who represents the neighboring district also voted NO! Both Republicans. Our state’s three Dems voted yes. Jacka$$es. Gotta hand it to the Dems, they sure picked an appropriate mascot when they picked the donkey.
I’m once again proud of my Congressman (McCotter) for doing the right thing. He has been extremely impressive this past week or so.
I’ve never done it before but I’m now ready to vote for Kevin Brady’s (TX) democrat opponent. Freaking loser was on the local radio here a few days ago saying how his constituency was overwhelmingly opposed to the bailout too. Man, these people in DC just don’t get it.
I lost 3 years worth of pay in the market, and now they’re going to debase the currency so I cannot ever recover.
I’m going to move my money out of the U.S. This is an unfriendly environment for investment.

Somebody retype this so it makes sense.
The way this was handled, prepare for 2006-like losses in the House and Senate. I suspect it might even spell the end for McCain. It will be looked on as Republicans rewarding their donors.
McCotter has been very consistent on this matter, and he did the right thing once again. And my rep, Candice Miller, did the same. I’m gonna have to thank her in writing.

My guy — Mo Hinchy (D-NY) — voted “no,” but for all the wrong reasons. He apparently opposed the bailout bill because it did not contain FOH funding.
until the next con in another 1 or 2 years.
thanks to my Congresscritter, Michelle Bachman- for voting NO twice.
WTF Tancredo??
I just sent Ginny Brown-Waite a thank you note....she stood against this bill and stood up for the free market.
They no not what they have done!
Head for the hills and build your fort and get your family together behind the walls! Stock it with food and water and lock the gate!

Now it's time to elect his democratic opponent for 2 years and then find a real conservative to run in 2010.
Mike Pence voted no. Good for him.
My democratic Congresswoman held her ground and voted “no” again...Castor, Florida. My ex Republican Congressman (he was my congressman for years before the district was split) also stayed with a “no” vote.
And my congressman Tancredo voted for this piece of junk. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out, you loser. Guess he just doesn’t care since he is retiring.
I am having a hard time with this.
It certainly appears that the “Honorable” Eric Cantor has jumped ship and joined the fraudulent corporate welfare “bailout” crowd.
If he REALLY has done this (and the record certainly indicates that he HAS), then:
1) I am truly sorry I EVER supported him for McCain’s VP pick and I sincerely apologize to anyone ouit there whom I may have swayed “towards” him.
2) I shall vote against him in every election from the upcoming one to the time that I am dead, I am no longer in his district or he is un-elected.
This is NOT a forgiveable offense.
I have known Tom Tancredo (not as personal friends) for many years. He is one of the ones that helped to get homeschooling legalized in Colorado. He has fought valiantly against many battles - often standing alone before the Republican caucus.
That is why I supported his candidacy for President this year.
And now....he has chosen to end a distinguished career by handing the torch of freedom to our enemies - without even so much as a whimper.
Congressman Tancredo...you should be ashamed of yourself...and I (and my family) are ashamed of you. You, sir, are a traitor.
...the president I didn’t vote for, the president that the electoral college put into power, just walked up with a big grin, the stairs of the treasury bldg. ready to sign this pos... Choose carefully what you post... The ad mod of the site on another thread, “Pray for JWB”, is passing out warnings...
Guess all our phone calls and emails helped!!! ;)
I see Shiela Jackson Lee - TX - changed her mind.
Anyone have a list of the tards that changed their minds from No to Yes????
Mine voted as a conservative who doesn’t punish responsible buyers, borrowers, and lenders. Well I guess there is one republican who will get my vote this year.
I don’t see the other thread you’re referring to.
John S McCain makes me sick to my stomach, I want to vomit.
He is so stupid that he said yesterday he would appoint Al Gore to work with his admin on the global warming issue.
If they could just get McCain to STFU and let Sarah be Sarah.
He voted for this pork laden grab of power and has just partook in a massive solialist takeover in America.
I am no longer a free man in a free country
Screw Bush and McCain..
One correction. Walberg is in MI not NM.
Ours sold us out. Randy Kuhl, R-NY. He won't be back.
