Since when did being well-prepared get such a bad rap?

If Palin had made the slightest stumble, they would have been all over her “poor preparation.”

Sure, I understand and agree about the need to be well prepared, but what Chistingle was saying was different, he implied that she crammed the night before the final exam and came over as rehearsed.

The irony is many of us can tell you pretty much what Christingle will say about any Republican before he even says it.

Amen.

I was looking at this as not so much that she would win or lose the debate. Because of the media's attempt to portray her as dumb prior to the debate I thought that she needed to do something besides "win."

Palin needed to intelligently and clearly articulate her own opinions and positions on domestic and foreign policy and show the differences she had compared to Biden and Obama's positions.

She also needed to demonstrate her knowledge of McCains foreign and domestic policy beliefs and be able to defend those beliefs and compare them to Biden and Obama.

I thought that she accomplished both objectives. She has permanently put to sleep any misunderestimation by the media of her intelligence and abilities. They won't like it and they won't admit it, but she kicked a whole lotta liberal butt tonight.
