His run back to Washington, then away from Washington, then back to Washington fiasco was confusing. I think personally he has this thing won but he is playing prevent defense and anythig can happen when you do that. I see Sarah Palin has woken up from her stupor and actually sounded animated yesterday on the campaign trail. Her robotic stump speeches were starting to irritate me.

Yeh. And that maverick manta is starting to wear a bit thin, too. He sure didn't show much maverick regarding the bailout.
