In a so-called age of tolerance, it amazes me just how intolerant some people are of those who stand for traditional values. For example, if I stand against California's memorializing of Harvey Milk Day or stand for California's Proposition 8, which would create an amendment to the California Constitution to safeguard heterosexual purity in marriage (which I do support and encourage Gov. Schwarzenegger and all Californians to do the same), I'm considered by many to be intolerant and a bigot. But if another actor takes just the opposite positions on those measures, he is considered to be compassionate and a liberator. Or when a liberal candidate, such as Hillary Clinton, runs for president, her candidacy is considered a fulfillment of civil rights and women's suffrage. But when a conservative candidate, such as Sarah Palin, runs for vice president, she's considered a radical right-wing extremist who could usurp the Capitol by toting rifles at her side.

Kelsey Grammar? I am duly shocked. But...pleased:)
John Ondrasik
Rip Torn and Sylvester Stallone also come to mind along with Jean Claude Van Damme who had kind words about President Bush. One mustn’t forget Drew Carey or Clint Eastwood also. John Malkovich, I’ve heard is a Conservative also. You could go further and say Doris Day, Mickey Rooney and Jane Russell but except for Night In The Museum, I don’t remember a recent flick by any of them. I remember reading a few lists on our allies in Hollywood, which I think included Joe Pesci, but I am still skeptical as to the credentials espoused on a few lists. wouldn’t it be great if FR can find every Conservative Entertainer/Writer/Celebrity and have a happening? Flyers could be sent to everybody who is at least remotely presumed to be a Conservative and than we can find out who our true allies are.
Repeated post:
I will have to edit my previous post: I forgot the guy from Tremors, and the woman who played his wife in Family Ties. I also forgot the two ladies from Designing Women. Larry Miller, if I am correct, is into the philosophy and so is Dennis Miller(who did do Bordello of Blood) a little, George Strait was in a few movies. If I remember more names I will be sure to triple post.
Thanks for all of the additional names! It’s good to know that there are even more out there.
Too bad we don’t have the list of 600 who are part of Gary Sinise’s conservative/centrist group.
Jaclyn Smith and Cheryl Ladd
Also Meatloaf! I had the pleasure of chatting with him about politics once.
Robert Downey, Jr. He said in an interview that you couldn’t spend time in jail the way he did and not come out of it a conservative.
The movie opened last friday and performed pretty well at the box office (#4).
Pat Sajak.
Penn & Teller
Jackie Mason
(Not that there's anything wrong with that).
I'm pretty sure there not anti dentites either.
I think Michael Gross is a lib and his Family Ties wife, Meredith Baxter, is a big time lib. Dixie Carter from Designing Women is a conservative and I think Delta Burke is as well because her husband, Gerald McCraney, sure is.
Heather Locklear
Lorenzo Lamas
Kid Rock
