Talking to my brother in Alvaredo, Texas last night, he told me he hasn't seen that many oil wells going since the boom of 1979-80. He's an old roughneck, and he claims that he could get on out on one of those rigs easy for $20/hr.
To me that sounds tempting, but I've only got 4 more years to retire from my present job, and I'd like to think the field will still be booming along about that time. Then I could doubledip 8^D.
