Bill Clinton: McCain acted on 'good faith' in debate delay...
ABC News ^

ABC News' Nitya Venkataraman Reports: Former President Bill Clinton defended Sen. John McCain's request to delay the first presidential debate, saying McCain did it in "good faith" and pushed organizers to reserve time for economy talk during the debate if the Friday plans move forward.

Appearing on Good Morning America Thursday, Clinton told ABC News' Chris Cuomo that McCain's push to postpone the debate would only be a good political move if both candidates agreed. McCain announced on Wednesday that he would "suspend" his presidential campaign to come to Washington to help negotiate a financial bailout bill.

Geez... all we need now is “I’m John McCain and I approve this message” running along with that and we got a new ad

Clinton’s were really treated badly by Obama and Wright. That riding dirty comment (whatever riding dirty means) was really a low blow after how Clinton treated AAs in his administration. They were really stabbed in the back.

He really is trying to throw it to McCain. Makes sense that he should. It’s 90% opportunism, as he wants Hil in 2012, but maybe 10% because he knows Bambi just ain’t up to it.

I admit to spending most of the 90’s detesting that man and his wife. Watching them over the last year, have to fend off the press in the same way our candidates have had to do, initially offered some schadenfreude.

Yet, given his recent honesty regarding McCain and Hillary’s decision to NOT attack Sarah...I’m giving my dislike of them a breather. No, I’m not stupid to think there isn’t an alterior motive on their part. But Bill’s answers about McCain, Todd Palin and Gov Sarah...were very thoughtful.

Obama cost Billy $11,000,000, a shot at even more fame and more money, and robbed him of the title of first black president. Billy HATES Obama.

I think Bill is waiting to drop an anvil on Nobama’s head at the right time, say late October. This is just a hint of things to come. He and Hildabeast are determined to see Nobama go down in flames so Hill can make a bid in 2012. No one messes with the Clintons and survives.

LOL! Great pic. What in the world does this corrupt, impeached, slimeball rapist know about good faith?

I agree with everything you say, but I think there’s a pretty big catch. The Clintons, especially Bill, are fairly irrelevant right now. I don’t doubt that Bill wants to drop the anvil, and he’ll probably try, but who will really pay attention enough for it to have any effect?

I think this goes way beyond getting hillary in 2012. If obama wins there won’t be an economy left.

we all know what the clintons are capable of. Obama is a very unlucky man for being on the wrong side of Bill.

“If obama wins there won’t be an economy left.”

That’s what I intended with the other 10% remark. If 0 loses, the party is diminished but can rebuild. If he wins they are over. As much as I loathe the dems, I love America more. Maybe Bill does too.
