Wow.....it certainly sounds like Bill is out there doing all he can for Obama by defending McCain and practically praising him on The View.

Searched under the specific headline. Apologies if post is a duplicate.

Bubba is certainly not enthusiastic about Obama. And that's damning him with faint praise!

"We know he didn't do it because he's afraid because Sen. McCain wanted more debates," Clinton said, adding that he was "encouraged" by the joint statement from McCain and Sen. Barack Obama.

"You can put it off a few days the problem is it's hard to reschedule those things," Clinton said, "I presume he did that in good faith since I know he wanted -- I remember he asked for more debates to go all around the country and so I don't think we ought to overly parse that."

Obama and Axelrod must be thrilled.

You can tell that Bill’s just loving the fact that he gets the chance to stick it to Obama, ever so subtly.

Yep. You don't ever want to cross Bubba. Obambi is learning that the hard way!

Just like a baseball pennant race, Bill’s the “spoiler” knocking teams out of contention. Gotta love it.

Wow, this is getting good...it is like he has been mildly stumping for McCain! LOL Face it, Bubba has an ego even BIGGER than the “One’s” and he won’t let no big earred punk tell him what to do. It is too funny.

My enemy’s enemy is my friend.

Like the Soviet Union during WWII, he has been a helpful ally.

The election gets stranger with each passing day. Maybe Bill thought Hillary was going to get the VEEP spot and when the intimate Harlem lunch did not produce he is subtle but not too subtle in speaking for McCain. He had very positive things to say last night about McCain-Palin on Larry King and tried to change subject rather than talk about Obama.

Let's not get carried away. Bill Clinton is not our friend (and by "our" I mean both the USA and the Republican Party).

Exactly! If Obama wins, more than likely Hillary will have to wait 8 more years to run again, whereas if McCain wins, she'll have a shot in 4 years. The Clintons have everything to gain from an Obama loss.
