No, I’m not totally convinced about “big business.” I am convinced it is BIG GREED from all sectors.
Thomas Jefferson was concise in his early warning to the American nation, “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”
I agree - business, elected officials and everyman are to blame for this. We all enjoyed this culture of debt. We didn’t learn from our grandparents and we’re doing it again - just in our own way.
This administration will go down in history with this on its shoulders but the last 3 since Reagan should shoulder the burden in complicity (even if through omission).
