No harm, no foul". The President could have legitimately said, "Look, ordinarily I would have invited Senator Obama to this meeting, but he said he didn't want to suspend his campaign. What was I supposed to do?" But, no, one last time El Presidente had to play Mr. Nice Guy (whose "legacy" finished last), and help bail out a Democrat in trouble (like he did for Nagin and Blanco).
