Has the head of the group designed to insure transparency and ethics in nonprofits stepped over the line by serving on the advisory council of the JStreetPac which brags it kept Palin out of the anti-Iran demo?
Independent Sector, an organization which assists almost 600 nonprofit organizations around the country and the world to establish and maintain appropriate ethical standards and practices of transparency. Obvious first question:
Is Independent Sector a tax-exempt organization?
I realize that most "progressive" organizations choose names which, in the real world, would invite constant prosecution for fraud and violations of "truth in packaging" laws; but such egregious partisanship must certainly deserve prosecution.
