GO to link to view the ads - quite illuminating!

I guess it is called swift-boating when someone reveals your record. From the Kerry playbook - attack those who speak of your record and play the victim.

I find it amazing that the liberals cry attack when their own words and actions are used against them.

SHOW me the lie, B. Hussein, and I will HAVE to believe you.

Until then I consider YOU to be a truly vicious, savage, lying a-hole.

Wow, I just submitted this to Drudge. It surely will backfire on Obambi, if people pay attention to this issue.

Yes, “it” IS truly vile -

“it” = 0bama’s position on abortion survivors.

This is typical of libs I’ve discussed this issue with. My accusation is “vile and absurd”, not 0bama’s actual position.

I can't believe the Obama campaign is this stupid, but I guess they are. If ever an ad should have been ignored by Obama this is the one. There was no way he could say anything that would result in a positive for his candidacy. The very fact that he replied is an indicator of how flawed his presidency would be. Can you imagine the kind of replies he would give to a foreign country? Wow!

obama says he is committed to providing care to a baby that survives an abortion

obama also says there are laws on the books that require these babies to get medical attention

jill stanek brought one case to his attention where care was not provided

obama should be asked to provide evidence that he contacted someone to prosecute those involved with that abortion

IMHO, Obama’s ad will be very affective, especially among voters like pro abortion sister. To her, the only innocent life in an abortion is the woman. Course, I should ask her what that aborted matter would become if allowed to live.. a Labrador?

From Obama More Pro-Choice Than NARAL
by Amanda B. Carpenter

In 2002, as an Illinois legislator, Obama voted against the Induced Infant Liability Act, which would have protected babies that survived late-term abortions. That same year a similar federal law, the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, was signed by President Bush. Only 15 members of the U.S. House opposed it, and it passed the Senate unanimously on a voice vote.

Both the Illinois and the federal bill sought equal treatment for babies who survived premature inducement for the purpose of abortion and wanted babies who were born prematurely and given live-saving medical attention.

When the federal bill was being debated, NARAL Pro-Choice America released a statement that said, “Consistent with our position last year, NARAL does not oppose passage of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act ... floor debate served to clarify the bill’s intent and assure us that it is not targeted at Roe v. Wade or a woman’s right to choose.”

But Obama voted against this bill in the Illinois senate and killed it in committee. Twice, the Induced Infant Liability Act came up in the Judiciary Committee on which he served. At its first reading he voted “present.” At the second he voted “no.”

The bill was then referred to the senate’s Health and Human Services Committee, which Obama chaired after the Illinois Senate went Democratic in 2003. As chairman, he never called the bill up for a vote.
