IDF soldier manning Nablus checkpoint loses sight after Palestinian woman hurls acidic substance into his eyes. Army slams 'cynical use' of humanitarian aid at crossings

An IDF soldier has lost sight in one of his eyes after a Palestinian woman attacked him with acid at the Hawara checkpoint on Monday afternoon. The checkpoint is located south of the West Bank city of Nablus.
Troops managed to apprehend the woman, who is believed to have carried out a similar attack several weeks ago at the same crossing. She was arrested and taken for questioning. The soldier was evacuated to the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva for treatment.
In the previous incident, the woman arrived at the Hawara checkpoint and attempted to cross through the humanitarian aid lane, which is meant for medical emergencies and therefore has limited security.
Upon approaching the soldier manning the lane, she threw acid at his face and then ran back towards Nablus.
IDF forces are implementing a more lenient policy at checkpoints as part of the military's efforts to ease restrictions on the Palestinian population during the month of Ramadan. Military sources said it is was unfortunate Palestinians were "cynically abusing" the IDF's humanitarian efforts.
The Hawara checkpoint has been the scene of many arrests in which Palestinians were apprehended trying to smuggle weapons and explosives into Israel.
The past two months have seen a 16-year-old boy arrested with two pipe bombs and a knife, and an 18-year old Palestinian arrested after a search of his person yielded six pipe bombs, a rifle magazine and gun powder.
Hey hey hey, a little sarcasm goes a long way! BTW the R & T keys are right next to each other, plus it’s early in the a.m. plus I hadn’t had my second cup o’ coffee plus I’m partly paralyzed plus ooops.
Pour acid down her throat or it will keep happening.
BTW none of those things are going to deter me from taking the cheap shot, if that's the only shot available.
Actually, I made up most of that stuff.
Playing nice with Muslim Terrorists get you blind, maimed, or dead. When are folks going to learn that? When is our own government going to learn that?
Kindness to the cruel is cruelty to the kind.
This incident exemplifies this statement. I certainly hope that the soldier in question is able to have his sight restored...but whether that happens or not I sincerely hope that it will impact the political situation in Israel. As is usual, the only reason that Israel cannot deal with terrorists and other mortal enemies lies within Israel itself - i.e. with the irrational appeasers like Livni and Peres. I hope that Livni cannot form a government, and that new elections are forced, resulting in Netanyahu being elected.
These rabid fiends nheed to be put down. it’s just that simple.
Paleostinians -— The lowest most inbred and useless population on this planet. They deserve their misery
Are they running out of people willing to blow themselves up? Purim too far off, so they can’t dress like sword-wielding pageant characters in the hopes of beheading some children? Out of toy-shaped mini-bombs?
Send them to Canada.

Disgusting! May the Lord show mercy and kindness to the solider who was blinded by this vicious Amalekstinian sow!
And people wonder why Israel has checkpoints and is building a wall to seal off the Palestinians. The whole reason and all the Muslim money for the Palestinians is to bedevil the Israelis. The Palestinians have no other purpose, and no other ambitions - except to immigrate to any country that will take them in, which means no other Muslim country.
Been me, that b*tch would’ve received instant, on the spot, fatal lead poisoning.
