As long as we have Donna Abandando on our side, all will be fine.

Hollywood’s opinion of red-state America, as seen in their movies and television, is a world where everyone is corrupt, degenerate, cruel, violent, abusive, and deeply hypocritical.

This, of course, is what psychologists recognize as “projection.” You can always tell whenever they encounter an actual, real, genuine working-class red state person like Sarah Palin.

They hate her because she reminds them that the corrupt, degenerate, cruel, violent, abusive and deeply hypocritical images that they create are a Dorian Gray portrait of themselves.

I often prefer to go see “artsy” films without the well known actors.

Who needs em. Plenty of people can act.

The Duke was a Great American Hero. Too bad there aren’t many like him around any more, guess they’re all in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Hollywood has trained us to fall in love with the image and to let our emotions go without restraint. This has happened in the negative with BDS — the dark Beatle mania of “We hate you, yeah, yeah, yeah” — and the positive with the messianic love and worship of Obama. In other words, Hollywood doesn’t want you to think but to “feel,” especially since they’re in the business of manipulating your feelings. And they are very successful at it. Thinking is actually quite hard for people, requires effort, whereas, feeling is easy — you just let yourself go. And Hollywood wants the extremes of these feelings: Total hate for Bush/total love for Obama. They know if you have invested much of yourself in these emotions it is hard to pull back... they own you! On top of that, the black man hero of Hollywood — the Denzil Washingtons, Will Smiths, etc., that you identify with — makes it even easier to identify with Obama. It makes us feel good that blacks are succeeding and we should be doing our part in that success story. But Obama, like all Hollywood movies, is a fake. Beneath the glowing, smooth, sonorous exterior there is something deep, sinister and unsettling about him: the empty suit is not just harmless entertainment but has a pronounced anti-American agenda. And he will apply any means — lying, smearing, the race card, sexism, emotional demagoguery, etc. — to justify his ends.

Ahhh you know that George C has an agenda as well as Ben and Scarlett while they put up a good front, they have all COME OUT for Obama. Will I am - they keep jamming him down our throat as well as Fergie - I think it is difficult for them when all they have done is Vodka and Let’s get it started!

Barbra Streisand crooned at a $35,250-a-head Beverly Hills fundraiser

Only kind of gigs the b*tch can get these days is an audience full of leftists.

I agree, and would refine that point one step further by saying I don't want people who spend their lives pretending that they're not pretending to be somebody else telling me about politics.
Acting, by its very nature, is psychologically disfunctional. Which perfectly explains why so many actors are raging lefties and so few are conservatives.
