The Conservative candidate for B.C.'s Skeena-Bulkley Valley insists naked photos taken of her in her office are not an issue for the party.
Sharon Smith, the mayor of Houston, B.C., grabbed worldwide attention five years ago when pictures of her wearing nothing more than a smile and her mayor's robes were widely circulated on the Internet.

She claims the pictures were stolen.... I don't think its a good idea to ever do anything that might eventually become public. If you make sex tapes with your wife, odds are good the rest of world will see them sooner than later. What was she thinking?

I don’t know why people do weird things like that. I figure some people get a thrill out of possibly being caught so they do something stupid. You really have to question the lady’s judgement if she would have pictures like that made. If someone has poor judgement about one thing, how far can the person’s judgement be trusted about important things?

As I recall, she and her husband posed this picture and it was on their home computer. A housekeeper or babysitter perused their computer files and nabbed a copy of the photo.
This was before people were getting burned right and left with intimate photos/videos -- that they did not dream would be so easily grabbed off of personal computer files -- were stolen and embarrassed them. Most people know better now.
