Man the attacks here on Savage smell of the Democratic Underground.

Savage makes some points....the fact that Spitzer may have been the only Dem. in recent years to be forced out because of having sex....heck cant even get gay GOPers to step down (Larry Craig).

It just seemed so easy to run Spitzer out. Something was up...more than sex

Not sure if I would bring back Spitzer in an offical role...might be of help as an assistant

It is not too far fetched that Spitzer was taken down by someone, he made PLENTY of enemies during his time in NY. From what I read he was a bit of a prima donna as well as careless.

That said bring him back would be a huge mistake, get someone else to go after the shysters.

And yes, Savage is entirely out of his element when it comes to economics and business.

Ditto!

Weener nation is back bench, barely second tier populist garbage.

Seeing More Clearly Now,

Give Mark Levin a try if you can get him. I know his show streams live in the 6-8pm EST time slot on www.wabcradio.com. A real constitutional authority and a genuinely conservative.

Savage has lost it. Wall Street was just being Wall Street, greedy guys thinking there had to be a pony in all that poop.

This is at base a Dem/Gov problem. When Fannie and Freddie started making liar loans, the idea was to package this into mortgage backed securities (MBS). Since the loans were bad, these things were toxic waste from the get-go. Everybody knew it, that's why they had to all that credit-default-swap stuff which was largely a game of hot potato to get rid of the bad stuff. Somewhere along the line, all those Wall Street types (who were big Dem donors) lost track of the hot potato.

Gorelick and Raines and the folks in Congress who prevented oversight of Fanny and Freddy should be the first targets. They are the ones who set this off by creating a couple of trillion dollars of toxic waste bad loans.

Everything that happened after the loans were first made was an inevitable result. That pile of poop was going to fall down on us sometime.

What I don't understand is why Wall Street kept any of that crap on their own books. I would think that arms had to be twisted to make some of those firms take this stuff on. Or maybe, they got too clever (like LTCM) with their mathematical models trying to shift the risk elsewhere and missed an important detail (models aren't the real world).

I want to see politicians in the dock for this. Well, I'd be happy to see politicians in the dock every day, just on the general principle that I live in New Jersey, and it's the annointed State Form of Entertainment to indict politicians. The runner up in the election for State Form Of Entertainment was electing crooked politicians. It was a tight race.

Michael Savage, while amusing at times, is an idiot.

RE: bashing of one Michael Savage

No other talk show host has the guts to stand up to our radical Islamist terrorist enemy the way Dr. Michael Savage does! Seems that people all over the world are offended.

So Savage says things that upset people? That includes me and I've stated them on his thread. Nevertheless I think Savage deserves the recognition despite his severest critics.

Iran gets in on the "Michael Savage" action.

Well at least the tyrants in Iran have a cute little name for him, Dajjal. A little classier than the Savage-haters here in the states, like $#&^! *(#%^! Yeah, like those.

Wow, the leading cause of terrorism in the world, the Islamic Republic of Iran, has taken offense at our own Michael Savage!

What other talk show host can boast that? That honor requires more than a few tepid on-air remarks every so often.

(a) Become a Michael Weiner listener
(b) Be afflicted with supperating pustules

Hmmm.

It’s a tossup.

Savage will remind his audience of how he’s hated
by the fanatical Muslims. Big deal. He’s hated by everyone.

Savage is second tier. There have been many more voices
that have expressed the same issues with greater depth
and understanding of this issue than Weiner.

Thank you.

I am looking for names to create a list of talk show hosts who have caught the ire of the Islamic Republic of Iran or other enemy of the United States of America.

Could you, or anyone reading this, please name the radio talk show hosts who have been singled out by our enemies?

Even if it is no big deal that a host irritates the enemy, radical Islamists, that has killed thousands of our fellow citizens I think that a host who does that deserves our recognition.

I haven’t listened to him often enough to know that. His self-absorbed style is too off-putting.

It's called branding. Mikey Whiner is the brand of talk show host - entertainer - that Iran loves to hate. I hate Iran therefore Mikey is "my" guy. Really very simple.

Are you kidding? All you will get is dead air from the other top-tier talk show hosts concerning the Muslim issue here in the states or elsewhere or at best they will only repeat the Islam is a religion of peace mantra.

Unfortunately only Savage will tackle the Islamic religionists head-on without fear of repercussions so you know he's going to be a #1 target if he doesn't stop. According to his lawyer he was advised of the dangers he would place himself and his family members in if he were to continue the pursuit of his lawsuit against CAIR.

Ya know, after reading millions of words on the subject that's the best I've read. For what it's worth I think you've nailed it perfectly.

It ain't rocket surgery, it was just government types being, well, government types and the Masters of the Universe going to where the money was after SOX killed just about everything financial in this country.

Thanks.

Savage who fancies himself a military genius like Patton, denigrated and demeaned General Petraeus and said the surge was DOD.

Now he agrees with Nancy Pelosi that the financial crisis is all Bush's fault.

Recent Savage:

1. Putin is a great man —Russia is good.

2. Sarah is a very bad VP choice.

Maybe Michael Savage should bring back Charlie Schumer so Savage can ki** Schumer’s as* a THIRD TIME..?

I still remember it like it was yesterday; Savage not just politely accomodating a required liberal guest, no, but indeed serviley bowing and scraping, “Golly, I’m so flattered you came on the show, Chuck..! Punch me in the shoulder, Chuck, can I sit at the cool-kid table, now...?”

It was completely disgusting, although now maybe 3.5 years ago, last time. It was so over the top you’d never have guessed that it was Our Hero, the guy with the guts to hang up on Tom Lantos on the air, mostly just for kicks.

I tune in from time to time these days (don’t like Hannity, sorry), and I think Mike is sometimes on the air after or while drinking a bit —he tells himself it’s Kerouac and Gleason, so it’s all good, right?

Wrong. And I’m not talking about his slams on W or Rush, no...I’m fine with that.

You’d have thought he’d learn after what he did to his live show the day he rolled onto stage in that Caddy, but apparently this data fell outside the sampling parameters of this Ph.D....

How should I say it, now....?

It....made me want to smash my Piggy Bank into a million pieces.

I’m happy he’s been able to sponsor Rockstar and help Russ so much, but....he has must so diminished himself. He walked through fire, yes, and now he’s just lost.
