Oh, now this could be fun. Not for the shoes stuff, but rather to see the body language between Sen. Hillary Clinton, who some Democrats think should have been the party's vice presidential nomineeNew York Senator and former Democratic presidential candidate but not vice presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who many Republicans think should be the country's first female vice president.
A coalition of Jewish groups announced Tuesday that the two most prominent women in American politics at the moment would be among those attending a Monday morning rally at the United Nations in New York City to protest the attendance of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at the U.N. General Assembly session.
While her husband, ex-president Bill Clinton, continues to prepare to get ready to pack to go out and campaign for Sen. Barack Obama, Sen. Clinton has been busy actually campaigning and saying no more Bush, no John McCain, no Palin. Sen. Clinton hasn't said anything very specific or biting about the GOP's first female oAlaska Governor and Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palinn a presidential ticket.
And Republican Palin has conjured up great innocence to say how much she respects the New York Democrat and suspects that Obama probably wishes now that he had picked Clinton as his running mate instead of who's-its from the strategic and very vital state of Delaware.
But wait. The whole meeting might not come off.
Late Tuesday, a spokeswoman for Palin said the Monday schedule was not yet set, and she could not confirm the governor's attendance.

Hillary cancelled!
Hillary cancelled saying she was not told that the event would be partisan (once she learned Gov. Palin would attend too).

So Hillary attending would not be partisan ?
Wouldn’t having BOTH Hillary and Palin there make it a non-partisan event ?
Hillary’s logic escapes me.
Clinton better be polite or she’ll come off as an Olberman/Matthews/Gibson/NBC/ABC/MSNBC/ect.

Actually I think she will be the first female president, in 2012. But we all have work to do so that may come about.
