I had a conversation today with a left winger at work who said blacks will riot if Obamachev loses. He expected me to be scared.

Fine with me I said, won’t be the first time. If rioters come to my neighborhood and threaten our homes, we’ll shoot em down like dogs.

He hadn’t thought of that.

I've had similar conversations with an assortment of colleagues. My standard reply to the “riot” threat-”that's OK, 5.56 be our friend”-usually isn't understood and simply draws a blank stare.
