Gibson has no credentials to be considered a "respected journalist". He's at best qualified to be a morning show anchor. That's all he was before Peter Jennings died. Gibson got Jennings job because ABC viewers "liked" him more than the other candidates for Jennings job. Gibson did not get the job because he had a track record as a respected journalist.

So, throw Gibson into a situation (the Palin interview) for which he is completely unqualified and ABC had to know Gibson would be revealed as a complete lightweight.

My opinion is that the Gibson backlash will be another factor for Biden to consider in his preparation for his debate with Palin.

Biden naturally adopts many of the same condescending speech patterns, body language, facial expressions, etc. that Gibson did in his interview.

Plugz will be damned if he does or doesn’t in a lot of ways.
