State: Pennsylvania
Updated: 9/13/2008
Summary: McCain - 49.1% Obama - 44.3% Not Sure/Other - 6.6%
"This is a classic case of polling as a snapshot in time. We're turning Pennsylvania purple today, as McCain takes a small edge. But as in Ohio, we are watching this closely and things could change in this classically blue state."

Granted it is Zogby. Take it with a huge grain of salt, but very interesting to say the least.

Now that’s the way to do it baby! I knew when PA went so big for Hillary that it was going to be a problem for Obama. We owe a big thank you to the Clintons. It pit the liberals against the blue collar workers and those blue collar workers are open to something different now.

FWIW, Zogby has McCain up 50 - 44 in Ohio.
He also has Obama up by 1.5% in New Mexico and by 2% in Colorado, which stinks, but are no cause for panic at this point.

I got emailed and filled out a Zogby interactive questionaire the other day. I answered it honestly but you know there’s others out there who don’t.

HUGE if true. No real scenario where Obama can win without PA.
I think the democratic “bluecollar” states (OH, MI, PA) will all go McCain/Palin.
WOW.

If McCain is declared the winner in PA on election night, it’s time to open the champagne!

Same released Zogby polls have Obama up 48.1-46.6 in NC. While a flip of NC for PA is a net plus, that doesn't seem likely.

I used to get those regularly and answered them honestly too. Then I was dropped from the list. Too conserative for Zogby's tastes, I guess.

BINGO.
And here we have the reason for the Obama campaign’s explosion today about sleaze. They knew these numbers were there.
If PA flips, this is over, but 7 weeks is a lifetime. Stay focused.

“...this is great news...”
The key here is whether or not the dead rise on election day in Philly to vote for B. Hussein Obama and then return to their graves.

The McCain camp needs to fry Obama for that ad mocking McCain for being too old for computers. The great potential for blacklash against Obama with Pa’s large elderly population.
If we can nail Pa, then CO and NM won’t matter.

Geez. My home state, Minnesota, hasn’t been updated since July 8th. They show Bob Barr getting 8% of the vote. Time for a new map.
