Let’s keep the momentum! Keep Barry off-message and McCain on-message!

227-217...

That's still a ways from 270...

Let's keep fighting like we're behind!

I think PA, Ohio and Virginia are also in the red. They haven’t called it that way yet, but from what I’ve heard and read, those states are RED!

Obama is on the ropes.

McCain can finish him off at the debates.

Obama has no shot without Clinton supporters. They’re defecting to Palin unless Biden gets dumped.

This site has McCain at 277-261

I don't know how good they are, but I think it's better than being the other way around!

nObama isn’t even pulling Kerry numbers in the toss up states. That has got to be panic mode for nObama.

a look real clear politics "no toss ups" shows a very close race with Obama shading McCain 273 to 268.

Significantly, that map awards Nevada to McCain which might be very critical if the poll numbers do not move much from this position. With Nevada, McCain need only tip Colorado or New Mexico to gain the day.

He also has a reasonable shot at Michigan and I think in Wisconsin. Perhaps even Pennsylvania.

Since McCain now has the momentum, the game is entirely changed and whereas McCain must two weeks ago play defense he is now free, like my namesake, to go raiding into Yankee territory.

It is nice to know that a worst-case basis, we have a very good chance at this level.

When I talk to liberals that I work with or read liberal blogs they seem to have convinced themselves they obama will win in a landslide. It is like they actually don’t realize that McCain is leading all across the country. All they all just living with their heads in the sand or what?

Sweet Home Alabama: McC up by 24; McC up by 18 in
Algore’s home state

In MA where I am, Obamanation up by 12 points but I’d only
hope people would come to their senses. Reagan won MA
once or maybe twice but that was then. (MA independents:
we get to vote against Kerry twice—vote Ed O’Reilly if
you pick a Dem ballot and if Kerry wins, which he should
vote against him again in fall...vote Beatty)

Look at the South and recall what Zell wrote about in
A National Party No More.
