There are a ton of liberal hippies up there.Yes Puget Sound is hippy country, particular the Olympic side. But then some of those hippies have been there so long they are turning into rednecks!

It's true that Dems seem to hold an edge in both state in Presidential elections, but that is not the only measure of "liberal", is it. I mean some might argue that Bush is pretty liberal himself.
