Too many Chafee’s and weirdos have been in the GOP for the last 6 years ago so and have messed it up.

Yes! We should have learned that in 1980 when the "upsets" were conservatives like Steve Symms, who beat power-broker Frank Church in Idaho. McGovern and Birch Bayh also went down in flames.
