Amie Parnes reports from Lebanon, VA:
Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."

The lipstick was referenced, but not the fish. The whole shmeer is yet to come. But at least now we know there's video. The crowd howled gleefully at it. Like something out of Jeremiah's church audience.

this guy is self destructing. They are like German Soldiers caught in a Russian winter. They are falling apart really fast and there is nobody in chargeWay off topic, but one of the bizarre wonders of the 20th century is how/why the landser did not self distruct in the Russian winter, summer, or anything else, but continued to fight without hope against all odds.

You've been around FR for quite some time, so you should know that the odds are about 10-to-1 against this ever making the front page of most newspapers. It would be devastating for Obama to have this get wide publicity, and the pro-Obama editors know it.
