Before going to daily mass this morning,in passing had seen an election map on CBS on what states will go red for McCain and blue for Obama. By the looks of things, there were more red states then blue states. A sign of things to come?
From the reports on the local news after McCain made his choice in VP public, a LOT of voters said one of two things:
1: I don’t like the way the Democratic Party treated Clinton, so I’m going to vote Republican, and
2: I wasn’t going to vote at all this year, but now that Palin is the VP candidate, I’m going to vote for McCain!
It doesn’t seem to really matter what the Dims do...I doubt very much they’ll get NV. Yucca Mountain is not even an argument, since it employs an AWFUL LOT OF NEVADANS!

IMHO, the election ended the day Sen.McCain picked Gov.Palin. Sen.McCain now has a surge to call his own and this one will get him in the White House.
If the rest of the states are like NV, I don’t think the surge will end for at least another eight years!
We just need to soundly pound the Dims into submission, and hopefully, they will see their ways are not necessarily the right ways.
