KANDAHAR (Afghanistan) - Two explosions have hit Sunday the police headquarters in Kandahar, a Taliban stronghold in southern Afghanistan, which apparently victims, according to an AFP journalist.

Kandahar is NOT a Taliban stronghold. The people of Kandahar were horribly oppressed when the Taliban had the stronghold over Kandahar. But then the US and coalition forces stepped in a kicked Taliban arses out into the mountains between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
What is happening now, is the Taliban have nowhere else to run, and are trying to retake Kandahar.
