More smears. The librarian couldn't be reached for comment? Talk about irresponsible journalism.

The list has been shown to be a fake; some of the books thereon were published after Palin's tenure as mayor.

They have no idea how badly they are hurting Obamas chances with their total derangement.

Kick back and watch them self destruct folks.

Filth like “Bless Me, Ultima” shouldn’t be provided to children by tax-supported libraries.

Was "Heather Has Two Mommies" one of them?

Or how about "Daddy's Roommate"?

Or maybe, the photo collection of Robert Maplethorpe?

Good for Sarah!!!

They had better be careful, we could be seeing a positive for us “Clinton Effect” the more they attack Sarah Palin, the more people support her, so they become more shrill, and the support goes even higher.

Just keep talking MSM...just...keep...talking....

Stores that carry these mags should be asked either to refuse to sell obnoxious editions, or to put them in a less visible place. It’s the stores’ decision, after all.

Does Palin seem like the type of person who would ask a library how to ban books?

If she wanted to ban books, that would be stupid.

She is not stupid.

"The librarian was aghast." That woman, Mary Ellen Emmons, couldn't be reached for comment.

Whenever I hear "That Woman", all I can think of is Slick Willie pointing his finger at us and denying the Lewinsky relationship!

They have their game plan...smear her little by little until the public starts believing the stupid smears. W suffered from this to this day and IF the McPal team don't stand up to them, I don't know how, some of this WILL eventually stick to her. Their goal is to paint her as a BITCH and nasty person...MARK IT! They will succeed if they don't have SOMEONE to counter attack those lies. We can not get complacent with the MOST EVIL DEMON PUKES on the face of AMERICA. I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION and I hope the M/P team have something planned! Pray for them and pray that they don't tire of fighting the meidaPUKES and give up. After awhile you lose heart.

Geez, and the liberals still don’t understand why they keep losing. The moonbats love this stuff, mainstream America soundly rejects it.

Palin pressured Wasilla librarian
TOWN MAYOR: She wanted to know if books would be pulled.

By RINDI WHITE
rwhite@adn.com

Published: September 4th, 2008 01:49 AM

excerpts from

http://www.adn.com/sarah-palin/story/515512.html

When the matter came up for the second time in October 1996, during a City Council meeting, Anne Kilkenny, a Wasilla housewife who often attends council meetings, was there.

Like many Alaskans, Kilkenny calls the governor by her first name.

“Sarah said to Mary Ellen, ‘What would your response be if I asked you to remove some books from the collection?” Kilkenny said.

“I was shocked. Mary Ellen sat up straight and said something along the line of, ‘The books in the Wasilla Library collection were selected on the basis of national selection criteria for libraries of this size, and I would absolutely resist all efforts to ban books.’”

Palin didn’t mention specific books at that meeting, Kilkenny said.

Palin herself, questioned at the time, called her inquiries rhetorical and simply part of a policy discussion with a department head “about understanding and following administration agendas,” according to the Frontiersman article.

TEST OF LOYALTY

Were any books censored banned? June Pinell-Stephens, chairwoman of the Alaska Library Association’s Intellectual Freedom Committee since 1984, checked her files Wednesday and came up empty-handed.

Time magazine is now re-hashing stories from the liberal blogs. Stories that have already been debunked. Never before have the MSM sunk so low.
